TomHardyFact #4 - Tom won the BAFTA Rising Star Award in February 2011 having received the highest number of public votes, but didn’t show up at the ceremony. Later the same month Tom appeared as a guest of Alan Carr’s “Chatty Man” - where he was finally presented with the award - and admitted that he chose to miss the BAFTA’s in order to spend time with his loved ones because he never expected to land the prize.
We watched it on the telly and I was like ‘Oh shit’ (x)
